WHO WE ARE
MADs: meet our team
The startup MADs (Microbiology Applied to Diagnostics) was founded by four experts with complementary backgrounds in research, higher education and clinical practice. The Professor Michel DrancourtUniversity Professor at Aix-Marseille University and researcher at the IHU Méditerranée Infection, contributes his expertise in microbiology and translational research. The Dr Gérard AboudharamSenior Lecturer at Aix-Marseille University and dental surgeon in private practice, contributes his dual academic and clinical experience. The Professor Élodie TerrerUniversity Professor at Aix-Marseille University and hospital practitioner at the APHM, reinforces the team with her knowledge of hospital practice and odontology. Last but not least Ghiles Grineresearcher at the Fondation Méditerranée Infection in Marseille and president of the MADs startup, coordinates the project, bringing together the team's scientific, clinical and entrepreneurial skills.
